Current Project
Oak Tree Developers is advancing plans for a strategically positioned multi-family development in the East Tampa community. In August 2024, the company acquired a parcel located at 3710 East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard as part of its long-term commitment to delivering quality, attainable housing in growth-focused corridors.
Since acquisition, Oak Tree Developers has engaged in multiple meetings with the City of Tampa Zoning Department to evaluate the site’s development capacity and confirm eligibility for rezoning. The property is currently designated to permit one commercial unit and four residential units. The company intends to pursue a Planned Development (PD) Multi-Family rezoning to unlock the site’s full potential in alignment with community redevelopment goals.
Upon approval, Oak Tree Developers plans to construct an 8–10 unit, three-story apartment building consisting primarily of two-bedroom units. The development is designed to contribute meaningfully to East Tampa’s affordable housing inventory while maintaining long-term ownership and operational oversight to ensure stability and quality.
This project increases attainable housing supply within a designated redevelopment area, supporting neighborhood revitalization, and fostering sustainable economic growth. Oak Tree Developers is committed to responsible development practices, strategic public-private partnerships, and disciplined financial execution.
