When I first came to Tampa, I immediately felt something different. It wasn’t just the growth or opportunity — it was the people and the genuine sense of community. From the beginning, Tampa felt like home. Over the years, as I watched the city evolve while holding onto the character that makes it special, I knew I didn’t just want to live here — I wanted to contribute to its growth in a meaningful way. My journey in real estate began six years ago with a duplex project, and what started as a single investment became something much more impactful. That experience showed me that housing is more than an asset — it is a foundation for stability, opportunity, and community strength.

That realization led to the creation of Oak Tree Developers alongside my business partner, Omari. We founded the company with a clear purpose: to build high-quality, affordable housing that allows families to thrive as Tampa continues to grow. My professional background — including a Master’s degree in Student Affairs and years of experience in recruiting, sales, leasing, and working with low-income and first-generation adults — has shaped my people-centered approach to development. I believe housing is about access, dignity, and creating spaces where individuals and families can put down roots and move forward with confidence. Through Oak Tree Developers, my goal is to give back to the city that has given me so much by building homes that help others feel that same sense of belonging.
